I decided to work with a local manufacturer to produce solid wood kitchens and opened my first kitchen showroom, Woodcrafters, later that year.
After a couple of years of increasing orders, I decided that our manufacturing process was taking too long, so I redesigned the cabinet which kept the framed kitchen door appearance and reduced the manufacturing costs by 50%. I registered my unique design with ACID and went into production, changing the revised business name to Wood & Wood.
My new kitchen design was launched at the 2006 Excel KBB (Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms,) show, London. The launch was very successful; a large department store ordered a display for their key outlets, a Japanese contractor, who I had supplied kitchens to previously, ordered a showroom display.
Quality is still our primary concern. We are working with a local manufacturer with the capacity to manufacture many kitchen orders maintaining exceptionally high craftsmanship. The new design reduced our lead times considerably.
We have recently added solid wood bathroom and bedroom cabinetry to our product range.
Most of our business is online, via designers, architects, and builders, we also welcome visitors to our increasing network of showrooms.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom design or would like a quote, please contact me by phone, email or call into one of our showrooms.
I look forward to hearing from you.
